A selfie from the front camera comes out mirrored, so text on a shirt reads backwards; a scan fed in the wrong way round comes out upside down. Flip horizontally to mirror, vertically to turn over, or both — and do a whole batch in one go.
Flipping moves every pixel to its mirror position and changes nothing else: the image stays exactly the same size and nothing is resampled or blurred. JPG stays JPG, PNG keeps its transparency, WebP stays WebP; an iPhone HEIC is saved as JPG.

Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. This conversion runs entirely inside your browser using your own device’s processing power. The file never leaves your computer or phone, which is why it also works when your connection drops.
What is the difference between flip and rotate?
Rotating turns the picture around its centre; a rotated face still looks the same way. Flipping mirrors it, so the left side becomes the right — that is what un-mirrors a selfie. Rotating by 180° and flipping vertically are not the same thing.
Will the picture lose quality?
No pixel is scaled or blended. A JPG is re-encoded at the quality you set, 92% by default; PNG is lossless.
Can I flip several images at once?
