Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. This conversion runs entirely inside your browser using your own device’s processing power. The file never leaves your computer or phone, which is why it also works when your connection drops.
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. The rotation is recorded as page metadata, so the page content is untouched and the file is not re-compressed.
Why does my viewer still show it sideways?
A few older viewers ignore the rotation flag. Opening the downloaded file in a current browser or Acrobat will show it correctly.
