Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. This conversion runs entirely inside your browser using your own device’s processing power. The file never leaves your computer or phone, which is why it also works when your connection drops.
Is this a legally valid electronic signature?
It is a visual signature: an image of your handwriting placed on the page, like signing on paper and scanning it. Many jurisdictions accept that for ordinary agreements, but it is not a certificate-based digital signature, and a form or portal that requires one will say so. If in doubt, ask the person receiving the document what they need.
Can I remove the white background from a photo of my signature?
Yes. Switch on “Remove the white background” under the image option and the paper turns transparent, leaving only the ink — so the signature sits cleanly on the page instead of pasting a white rectangle over it.
Can I sign every page, or add initials as well?
Yes. “Place on every page” copies the signature at the same spot on all pages, and you can make a second signature — your initials, for example — and place it wherever it belongs. Each placement can be moved and resized separately.
