Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. This conversion runs entirely inside your browser using your own device’s processing power. The file never leaves your computer or phone, which is why it also works when your connection drops.
Can it open password-protected ZIPs?
No. Encrypted entries are detected and you are told in one sentence; ask whoever sent it for a copy saved without a password.
Does "Download all" give me one folder?
It saves each file separately, one download after another, so folders are not recreated on disk. Your browser may ask once whether to allow several downloads from this page.
Which files can be previewed?
Images (JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, SVG, BMP, AVIF) and text files (TXT, CSV, JSON, XML, HTML, Markdown, logs). Everything else is listed and can be downloaded.
